Vanakkam everyone!

First of all I would like to thank HYO members for giving me the trust in leading HYO Malaysia as the 16th President. And also i would like to thank every HYO member’s who have done a great job in making HYO as one of the most active and well recognize hindu youth organization in nationwide. As I continue the responsibility, I understand the importance of not only maintaining the status but also to make it better and achieve aspirations of youth and community development.

HYO with the Vision of One HYO One Family had ignited the unity among members and have sparked the fire of growth. As HYO stepping into the 75TH year of establishment, I believe HYO will climb a greater height. As the need for urgent focus in the increasing crime rate and the high alcohol consumptions among Indian youths have made HYO to focus in education and rehabilitation of the younger generation.

The expansion will help in reaching to more young Indians in the rural area where many are neglected. HYO will be collaborating with Malaysian Youth Council and other Non-Government Organization (NGO) in implementing many outreach programs for the youths. Let each of us now embrace, with solemn duty and awesome joy, what is our lasting birthright. With common effort and common purpose, with passion and dedication, let us answer the call of history, and carry into an uncertain future that precious light of freedom.

We need to draw on tried-and-tested experience and hold onto what works, we need to introduce new thinking and approaches where feasible and we need to stop what isn’t working. We need to create a vision whereby our name becomes synonymous with excellence, innovation, honor, integrity and outstanding quality and service.
